Barnstable Road Work Underway

BARNSTABLE – The Town of Barnstable is conducting road work in two locations in town this week and MassDot is making road repairs in town as well. The DPW is working on Pond Street in Osterville and on Mistic Drive in Marstons Mills.

The work includes drainage adjustments, milling, grading and repaving. The Osterville project is scheduled to finish up on Friday, September 28^th and the work in Martsons Mills is scheduled to run until Friday, October 5^th.

MassDot has scheduled two days of work on Bearse’s way in Hyannis on Thursday and Friday, September 20^th and 21^st.

Traffic in all of the areas is expected to be delayed and motorists are urged to seek alternate routes.
