FALMOUTH–The Cape Cod Regional Veterans Expo will be held at Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School on Saturday, October 19.
The expo, hosted by the Cape Cod Vet Center, will feature information regarding benefits and services for veterans, including health care, employment, and home loans.
“We really want to get the word out to all the veterans on the Cape and make it, kind of, one stop shopping…The more awareness that veterans get, the more resources that they can use,” said Veteran Outreach Program Specialist for the Cape Cod Vet Center Adam Doerfler.
Last year, the expo drew close to 100 veterans. Doerfler said the center is hoping to double the number of attendees this year.
“A lot of this is good networking as well for the veterans, because in the end, we’re trying to get the veteran to the right place,” he explained.
The expo will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
