HARWICH – Officials with the Cape Cod Regional Technical High School will hold a public information session Wednesday night for four towns in the district ahead of the vote on a new $127 million building.

Residents in Harwich, Chatham, Brewster, and Dennis are invited to tonight’s session at Cape Tech from 6-7. Officials plan to discuss the need for the new facility, which would replace the current 43-year-old school.

This marks the second public forum the school has put on ahead of the October 24th 12-town vote.

Future sessions are planned at the Mashpee Public Library on September 26, the Eastham Library on October 3, the Bridgewater State University campus in Yarmouth on October 5, the Wellfleet Senior Center on October 10, and at Cape Tech again on October 11.

If the vote were to pass, the 12 towns in the district would share $86 million of the construction bill, with the Massachusetts School Building Authority covering the rest. The cost to each town would be determined by enrollment percentage.
