PLYMOUTH – Cape Cod Community College will begin its next series of Aviation Maintenance Technology classes next month and there are a few slots which have yet to be filled.
The unique, 14 month intensive-training course prepares students for FAA Certification exams in Airframe and Power Plant maintenance and repair, a year or more ahead of more traditionally delivered programs.
The college graduated their inaugural class of 16 graduates just last month. With some having already joined Cape Air in Hyannis, others have taken jobs in other parts of the country, and still others will begin studying to complete the Associate of Applied Science Degree at CCCC.
Cape Cod Community College has opened transfer pathways with Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester, Massasoit Community College in Brockton, and Bristol Community College in Fall River, and will continue to seek additional partnerships.
The College operates a state-of-the-art, hands-on training center in Plymouth, one of only six in the country with this intensive training model.
The next class of AMT students will enter the program January 22nd, those interested are invited to inquire about enrolling, and Financial Aid options, by calling the College’s Admissions office.
