Delaware North Closes on Purchase of Cape Cod Resort

Sea CrestNORTH FALMOUTH – One of the largest privately held hospitality and food service companies in the world, has acquired the Sea Crest Beach Hotel on Cape Cod.

The hotel represents Delaware North’s first lodging purchase in the eastern U.S. and New England.

The 266-room resort sits on a private 700-foot-long white sand beach, where guests can enjoy ocean-view rooms and dining.

The 21.6 acre property features an indoor and outdoor saltwater pool, poolside bar, watercraft rentals and 30,000 square feet of event space.

Scout Hotels, which has managed the resort for the last seven years, has been retained to continue managing the location.

“Visiting Cape Cod is a long-standing summer tradition for so many people, so we are thrilled with the acquisition of this one-of-a-kind asset and look forward to enhancing its presence in this community in the years to come,” said Ken Leone, Jr. vice-president of development for Delaware North’s parks and resorts business.

Delaware North is the owner-operator of TD Garden, home of the NHL’s Boston Bruins and the NBA’s Boston Celtics.
