WAQUOIT – A two-car crash on Waquoit Highway in Falmouth Tuesday night sent two people to Falmouth Hospital.
According to police, the crash happened at 8:45 when, according to police, a car driven by 85-year-old Falmouth resident Mary Bens pulled out onto Route 28 from Metoxit Road in front of a sports utility vehicle driven by 25-year-old Katherine Harrington of Cotuit.
Harrington was traveling east and hit Bens’s car.
She and her passenger were transported to Falmouth Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
Bens was cited in the crash.
