UNDATED – A former Falmouth Commodore is receiving national attention for a gesture he made to his parents on Christmas.
22-year-old pitcher Brady Singer, who is the top prospect in the Kansas City Royals farm system, paid off his parents’ debt and bank loans, thanking them for their support on his baseball journey.
Singer was the 18th overall pick in the 2018 draft and signed a $4.2 million contract.
He pitched for Falmouth in 2016.
A video of his parents reaction was posted in a tweet.
Today is very special to my heart. To give back to the two people who have given up everything to support my brother and I. I can’t thank them enough. Love you Mom and Dad pic.twitter.com/AFHi2Xma0c
