Gosnold Honors Members with Awards

MASHPEE – Gosnold hosted its annual Board Officers Appreciation Luncheon at the Popponesset Inn on October 31st.

Four awards were given out, including two Champion Awards and Rising Star and Advocate For Change Award.

The Community Champion Award was given to the CEO of Dellbrook-JKS, Michael Fish. Fish’s Financial support has contributed to organization’s Legacy Gala and other events since 2002.

The Friends and Family Champion Award was given to owner of 24 Auto Group, Ed Kardon. The award was given for the generous donation of two Jeep Wranglers in 2018 and 2019.

The Advocate for Change Award was given to President and CEO of Cape Cod Healthcare, Mike Lauf. That award was given for Cape Cod Healthcare’s contribution in changing the conversation around addiction.

The Rising Star Award was given to Jillian Foundation founder, Alan Slatas. The award comes after The Jillian Foundation hosted Jillian Angelic Dreams Concert on Martha’s Vineyard last summer.

Proceeds of the concert are going to educational programs at Gosnold.
