Gosnold to Hold Mock Interventions on Cotuit Stage

Gosnold_Logo VectorCOTUIT – Gosnold On Cape Cod will hold a staged set of mock drug addiction interventions next week to show the public how to approach those struggling with addiction.

Gosnold Director of Prevention Patricia Mitrokostas said that she hopes people will see how an earlier intervention is more likely to be successful.

“We want folks to see that there’s help earlier, and that the earlier we intervene, the more likely we are to be successful in getting somebody into recovery,” Mitrokostas said.

The four vignettes will be held on Tuesday, June 14th from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Cotuit Center for the Arts.

One of them will feature a primary care office intervention, while another will feature a young person in a school setting.

The production is part of the Charlie Wilkerson Memorial Lecture Series.

The event is free and open to the public.
