BARNSTABLE – Steve Liebowitz, the Democrat candidate running for State Representative in the first Barnstable District, has received the support of Congressman Bill Keating, a fellow Democrat.
“Steve Liebowitz has been a champion for families that are dealing with childhood hunger. Steve has fought to ensure that Massachusetts families that are food insecure to get the services they so desperately need. Steve will bring the same level of advocacy and leadership to the people of the First Barnstable as their representative on Beacon Hill,” Keating said in his endorsement.
“My appreciation to Congressman Keating for his endorsement of my campaign. I know when I am looking to help the working families in First Barnstable we have a strong partner in Bill Keating,” Liebowitz said of the endorsement.
Liebowitz is challenging incumbent Republican Tim Whelan.
