LISTEN: Ballot question could dedicate tax revenue from sports gear toward conservation

The state will likely see a ballot question next year on conservation, with the Association to Preserve Cape Cod leading the push.

Executive Director Andrew Gottlieb says that they have collected the third most signatures for the measure, which would dedicate $100 million each year from sports equipment tax towards conservation.

He also gives an update on their fight against Holtec International’s appeal to potentially discharge wastewater from Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station into Cape Cod Bay.
