Thomas C. McGowan Fund Accepting Proposals From Nonprofits

SOUTH YARMOUTH–The Thomas C. McGowan Fund for Animals, a part of The Cape Cod Foundation, is now accepting proposals from nonprofit organizations for projects to benefit wildlife and domestic animals in the area.

The fund provided organizations with a total of $45,000 last year, and over $300,000 since it was created in 2009.

Programs aided by the fund in the past have included spraying and neutering, preventing animal cruelty, and other types of medical support.
