Mandatory Forum Wednesday for Sandy Neck Deer Hunt

Sandy Neck Beach

CENTERVILLE – Barnstable’s Marine and Environmental Affairs Department will hold a forum Wednesday, December 11 for hunters participating in the 2019 controlled deer hunt on Sandy Neck Beach Park.

The forum is at 7 p.m. at the Centerville Recreation Building.

Primitive firearms hunting runs from December 16-21 or until six deer have been taken, whichever comes first.

The mandatory forum will cover special regulations, harvest objectives and prerequisites for participation.

Hunters must attend the meeting to be eligible to participate in the Sandy Neck deer hunt.

Hunters who participated in the archery hunt in November are not eligible to participate in the primitive firearms hunt.

Individuals with questions regarding the forum or the hunt can call 508-790-6272.
