Maria Mitchell Association to Host Multiple Events This Week

PROVINCETOWN–The Maria Mitchell Association will be hosting events this week for the public.

On Tuesday, Dr. Belinda Wilkes will talk about contributions that the Association’s observatory has made to astronomy.

Dr. Jerry Melilo will discuss “The Climate Change Challenge” on Wednesday, which includes how climate change has already impacted our world and what people can do to address it.

Both Dr. Wilkes and Dr. Melilo’s presentations will be free for all.

The Stars and Senses Night Hike will also conclude on Thursday for the summer. Tickets are $15 for members, and $30 for non-members.
