HYANNIS – Cape Cod’s beaches, oceans, bays and ponds are an inspiration to many artists and are the subject of a current art exhibit at the Cape Cod Maritime Museum in Hyannis.
“Cape Cod: An Artist’s View” is a collection of paintings, drawings, photography and sculpture by local artists.
Guests will have an opportunity to meet and greet artists featured in the exhibit Friday, April 5.
Beginning at 5:30 p.m., guests will have the chance to mingle and chat. At 6:15 p.m., each of the artists involved in the exhibit will give a brief discussion about their art and what inspires them.
Visitors will also have a chance to ask questions and join the conversation.
Artists featured at the reception include Luther Bates, Lauren DiFerdinando, Tom Leach, Steve E. Long, Donald Stucke and Whitney Wright.
The reception is free and open to the public.
