HYANNIS – Gas prices in Massachusetts fell three cents over the past week.
AAA Northeast reports that self-serve, regular unleaded is selling for an average of $2.52 per gallon.
That price is 13 cents below the national average and 32 cents lower than at the same time last year.
“Most motorists around the country are seeing gas prices stabilize or decline,” said Mary Maguire, AAA Northeast Director of Public and Legislative Affairs.
“On the whole, we are seeing gasoline demand pushing lower amid healthy supply levels, ultimately keeping prices stable or cheaper for most motorists.”
According to GasBuddy.com, prices on Cape Cod are between $2.37 and $2.99.
