Medical Pot Dispensaries to Open in January in Mashpee, Plymouth

MASHPEE – A medical marijuana company plans to open dispensaries next month in Mashpee and Plymouth.

Medical Marijuana of Massachusetts, which grows its product in a facility at the Plymouth Industrial Park, will offer pot in its dry form and gel capsules or topically with oils and creams.

The company has posted the expected January openings on its website. The marijuana will also be available in several different types or varying strength.

Only patients with state-approved medical marijuana cards will be allowed to enter the dispensaries.

The first medical pot dispensary on the Cape is scheduled to open this month in Dennis.
