FALMOUTH – As part of its annual Christmas Traditions events, Falmouth Museums on the Green will host tours of the historic 1790 Dr. Francis Wicks House.
The tours will be held from December 1 to 9.
The house was decorated for the holidays by the Falmouth Garden Club.
Last year’s theme was centered on December 1917 during the First World War. This year’s tour picks up one year later.
Executive Director of the Museums Mark Schmidt says they dig into the archives to give visitors a glimpse of what life might have been like in the Wicks house during the holidays almost 100 years ago when soldiers were coming home.
The Garden Club will also present its annual Holiday Market & Gardens sale at the home on December 1, 7 & 8 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The group will be selling holiday decorations and crafts, baked goods, wreaths and fresh greens.
Admission to the House Tour is $10 with no charge for museum members.

December 1, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
