HYANNIS – The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is accepting applications for coastal resilience grant funding.
Up to $15 million will be awarded this year for projects that benefit coastal ecosystems and communities.
NOAA is seeking new projects that build resilience to adverse events like extreme weather or long-term changing environmental conditions through habitat restoration.
The deadline for pre-proposal submissions is March 7. Applicants will then have up to 40 days to submit their full proposals, once they are notified that they are eligible.
