Pats Seek 11th Super Bowl Appearance

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The road to the Super Bowl continues for the New England Patriots Sunday evening.

The Patriots visit the Kansas City Chiefs at 6:40 p.m. in the AFC Championship Game.

The Chiefs had the league’s top offense this year and are led by quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who is the favorite to win this year’s league MVP.

A win would put the Patriots in the Super Bowl for the third straight year and the fourth appearance in the last five seasons.

An appearance in Super Bowl 53 would be the 11th trip for the Patriots, which would extend its league record.

The Los Angeles Rams visit the New Orleans Saints in the NFC Championship Game at 3 p.m.

The big game is February 3.
