Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum Launches New Website

PROVINCETOWN – The Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum has relaunched its website with new and enhanced features.

Visitors to pilgrim-monument.org can now purchase tickets for admission to the museum and special events online.

General admission for children, adults and seniors are available, along with Wednesday walking tours, picnics in July and August and reserved parking for July 4.

The online store also includes postcards, apparel, and monument souvenirs.

Other additions to the website include a calendar of events and a webcam positioned at the top of the 252-foot monument.

The webcam shows a 360 degree view of Provincetown which can be controlled by users.

The Executive Director of Pilgrim Monument and Museum K. David Weidner says the website was updated to make it more convenient for local resident and visitors to connect to the venue using smartphones, tablets or home computers.

The monument, which was dedicated in 1910, commemorates the first landing of the Mayflower Pilgrims in the ‘new world’ in 1620.

The museum is open for the 2017 season.
