Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum to Host Symposium

PROVINCETOWN – The Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum will host a symposium for the community regarding the history of the Wampanoag Indians and the Mayflower Pilgrims.

The symposium, “When WRITING History is not RIGHTING History” will be led by Linda Coombs, program director of the Aquinnah Cultural Center.

It’s the second symposium being held by the Museum this year to continue the discussion regarding how the relationship between the Wampanoag people and the Pilgrims evolved.

The event is free and open to the public and will be held from 3-5 p.m. on Wednesday, October 18th.
