Provincetown Dance Festival Kicks Off October 23

Dance ProvincetownPROVINCETOWN – The Truro Center for the Arts will be presenting the Provincetown Dance Festival at the Provincetown Theater from October 23 and 24 at 7:30 p.m.

The festival attracts a full house of dedicated theatergoers every year for the past 11 years and is the Cape’s only annual contemporary dance event of its kind.

The festival’s mission is to celebrate the world of dance through contemporary live dance performances from New York and the surrounding east coast.

The Provincetown Theater offers an intimate setting for the performances.

Artists hail from New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Rhode Island and Maine.

There are internationally known companies and performers in keeping with the festival’s commitment to present a full range of dance styles and genres.

The artists include Boston Tap from Boston, Case Closed! from Providence, R.I., Jade Solomon Curtis and Donald Jones, Jr., Marta Renzi and Gabrielle Revlock.

Tickets for each performance are $33.50 with premium seats available for $78.50.

Tickets can be purchased in person at the Provincetown Theater Box Office.
