SANDWICH – The Sandwich Chamber of Commerce has a new executive director.
Teri Stanley was hired by the chamber’s board several weeks ago, having been chosen from 30 candidates.
She previously served as director of business development and tourism for the Cape Cod Canal Region Chamber, and is excited to be assuming her new position.
“We have such a great community here. People are happy to promote it, be part of it, and be engaged with it. We have first night coming up which is a huge event. There’s so many things to do and be part of, so what’s not to like,” she said.
“Moving forward we’re going to be pushing to make sure that our businesses are well promoted and can make the most of the chamber and all the resources we have available.”
Throughout the winter and spring, they will be hosting several Cape Cod Score events which are open to the public.
Stanley takes over for Jay Pateakos, who left the position this past fall. He had been on the job since 2015 and left Sandwich for a job with MassDevelopment. He previously worked with the Fall River Chamber of Commerce.
