YARMOUTH – An open house for a MassDOT improvement project aimed at improving safety on Route 28 in Yarmouth and Hyannis is being held on March 27th.
The goal of the project is to improve safety and traffic operations by providing a complete street to better accommodate motorists, bicyclists, access, signal phasing, bicycle and pedestrian accommodations, and emergency vehicle prioritization.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about intersection improvements, design details, construction timeline and traffic impacts.
The open house takes place at the Hyannis Transportation Center conference room. Session one is from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. and session 2 is from 5 – 8 p.m.
