Orleans Police to Host Stop the Bleed Classes

ORLEANS  – In partnership with the Orleans Fire and Rescue Department, the Orleans Citizens Forum is continuing their “Stop the Bleed” classes through October and November.

“Stop the Bleed” is a program that teaches civilians emergency first aid techniques to use in case of accidents and shootings.

Over the summer, over 170 people were given hands-on training in 7 classes.

The classes are limited to 22 participants and will be hosted at the Orleans Police Department. The class dates are October 15 and November 19.
