YARMOUTH – Local officials are holding two meetings in March on the FEMA Flood Zone Maps, in an attempt to help residents who are incurring new flood insurance costs.
State Representative Tim Whalen (R-Brewster), local town planners, and representatives from Congressman Bill Keating’s (D-Bourne) office will be at the two meetings on March 6 in Dennis and Yarmouth.
The first session will be held from 10 am to noon at Dennis Town Hall, with an afternoon session set for the Yarmouth Senior Center from 1 to 3 p.m.
