WOODS HOLE – Boat tours on the Cape are not just for the summer season.

The Buzzards Bay Coalition will hold a heated boat tour to look for seals and winter seabirds around Woods Hole.

The tour will be held on Sunday, February 7 at 2 p.m.

Starting at the Old Fire Station on Water Street, guests will learn about harbor seals and seabirds in Buzzards Bay and elsewhere.

The group will then board the “Patriot Too” to search for the animals on the water.

The trip will last about an hour and binoculars will be provided, but attendees can bring their own.

The cost for the boat tour is $30 and $15 for children under 12. Buzzards Bay Coalition Members will pay $20.

The tour is part of the coalition’s Bay Adventures Series which is designed for explorers of all ages to get outside and discover Buzzards Bay.

Registration is required for the tour. To purchase tickets visit save buzzards bay dot org or contact the Buzzards Bay Coalition.

Two more winter tours will be held on Sunday, February 21 and Saturday, March 5.
