Sponsor a Care Package for a Soldier for Christmas

cc4thetroopspackagesYARMOUTH – The Yarmouth Police Department reports it is participating in assisting “Cape Cod Cares for Our Troops” to collect donations for postage to send packages to our troops serving overseas for Christmas.

Nearly 1,780 Care Packages will be prepared this weekend at the Trowbridge Tavern. Cape Cod Cares for Our Troops is seeking approximately $12,000 to cover the remaining amount needed to cover the $30,000 total cost of shipping.

Anyone who can donate $15 can sponsor a special Care Package from Cape Cod to a fellow American Solider, Sailor, Airman, Guardsman, or Marine by dropping off cash or a check payable to Cape Cod Cares for Our Troops anytime at Yarmouth Police Headquarters. You can also send a check to CCC4TT, P.O. Box 1444 Harwich, Massachusetts 02645 or use PayPal on their web site www.capecod4thetroops.com. You can also bring a donation with you this weekend.

For additional information about this program or if you have the mailing address of a loved one serving overseas please call Michelle DeSilva at 508-896-6424 or email her at [email protected]

Join us and help pack Christmas Care Packages for our deployed troops this weekend. This is a great way to start the holiday season!
