YARMOUTH – In this weeks Wanted Wednesday, Edgardo Ortiz is wanted by the Yarmouth Police Department on nine outstanding arrest warrants for his involvement in a wide variety of crimes in Yarmouth.
Ortiz is described as a white male, 5 foot 10 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds with brown hair and green eyes. He has numerous tattoos on arms, neck, and hands (as seen below).
The warrants charged Ortiz with violation of an abuse prevention order (4 counts), stalking in violation of an abuse prevention order (2 counts), operating with a suspended license (4 counts) and giving false ID to a police officer
Ortiz is well known to Cape Cod and Greater New Bedford Area Law Enforcement and has a long criminal history including arrests for Armed Robbery and Drug Distribution in a School Zone.
