CHATHAM – Brochures will be appearing around Chatham with details about the Board of Health’s new fertilizer use regulation.
The regulations, which were passed this year, prohibit fertilizer use from November through April and limits the use during other times of the year.
The brochures will be available at town buildings and in local gardening shops and will include information on fertilizer alternatives, lawn maintenance and the best types of grass to grow on the Cape to avoid the need for fertilizer.
