EASTHAM – The Cape Cod National Seashore’s “Perspectives: Seeing Cape Cod National Seashore through Art” series continues in the month of December with an exhibit at the Salt Pond Visitor Center in Eastham.
The exhibit will feature landscape paintings by Kathleen Dunn.
The national seashore has been a source of inspiration for Dunn, whose paintings try to express the spirit of the area.
Dunn’s art has been influenced by her time spent on the seashore while working at the Outer Cape Artists in Residency Consortium and in the dune shacks in Provincetown through the Peaked Hill Trust.
She graduated from the University of Massachusetts Boston and studied at the Castle Hill in Truro and at the Massachusetts College of Art.
Dunn’s most recent exhibition was at the Post Office Gallery in North Truro.
A reception for the exhibit will be held on Sunday, December 6 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Salt Pond Visitor Center.
