WELLFLEET – Wellfleet Police Chief Ronald Fisette says the Outer Cape Police Gun Buyback has come to a successful conclusion.
The Gun Buyback program began on Saturday May 6th and ran through Monday May 15th.
During the week plus long event, citizens were able to voluntarily turn in unwanted firearms to their local police department, for a gift card from a local business.
Seven guns were brought in for the buyback program between all the towns and will be turned over to the State Police for destruction.
