HARWICH – Multiple agencies were called to search in Harwich after a report of a missing elderly woman who suffers from Alzheimer’s. A staging area and command post was set up at the Cape Cod Irish Pub on Route 28. The Barnstable County Tech Rescue Team (BCTRT) responded to assist in the search. A Mass State Police helicopter searched from the air while a boat was searched a nearby river.
Update: Authorities report the victim was located in the area of West Dennis Beach about 4 PM apparently safe but was to be evaluated by medical personnel.
