CHATHAM – A traffic crash left a vehicle on its roof in Chatham. The crash happened shortly before 1 PM on Main Street (Route 28) in front of Pilgrim Village. The occupants of the vehicle escaped safely. Two people were treated and released at the scene. Firefighters had to mitigate a large fuel spill from the vehicle. The crash is under investigation by Chatham Police. Westbound traffic was detoured while eastbound traffic was slowed in the area while the scene was worked.
