EASTHAMFrom Eastham Fire: On March 25, 2023 at approximately 1:36 PM, the Eastham Fire Department responded to a call for a house fire at 10 Hideaway Ln.

The homeowner attempted to put the fire out with an extinguisher and water prior to the arrival of the fire department. She was able to get her dogs into her car to safety.

Crews remained on scene extinguishing hot spots for approximately 3 hours.
Eastham units cleared the scene by approximately 1600 hrs.
The fire origin appears to be accidental and electrical in nature.
Property loss estimated at $500,000.
