Concert Series Kicks off MV Summer Festival

The Martha’s Vineyard Summer Festival is here! This incredible series of music, movies, food and fun will be the highlight of the season, and there’s no better place to be on Cape Cod & The Islands. Visitors and locals will be filling their days and nights with all that the Vineyard has to offer, and the musical lineup has never been better.

When you think of Martha’s Vineyard, you think of sand and sun, lazy days on the water, cookouts, shopping, art and great dining. But this special island offers so much more. The Summer Festival draws visitors from near and far to its shores to experience the best in local music, local vendors and local flavor.

This is the fourth year of the concert series, and the focus this year will be on some beautiful venues where the sounds of great music will fill the air with the following entertainers:

July 12 – Steven Marley, 8 p.m.
July 29 – Gordon Lightfoot, 8 p.m.
July 30 – An Evening With David Sedaris, 8 p.m.
August 4 – The Capitol Steps presents The Lyin’ Kings, 5 p.m.
August 18 – Dave Mason: The Feelin’ Alright Tour, 5 p.m.

July 9 – Steve Earle and The Dukes, 8 p.m.
July 21 – Martin Sexton, 5 p.m.
July 23 – Bela Fleck and Abigail Washburn, 8 p.m.
July 24 – I’m With Her: WMVY Benefit, 8 p.m.
August 23 – Livingston Taylor, 8 p.m.

Union Chapel, 55 Narragansett Ave., Edgartown
August 31 – Son Volt: Union, 8 p.m.
