MASHPEE – About 10 AM Tuesday morning, Mashpee Fire responded to 126 Ninigret Avenue for a reported structure fire. On arrival they found smoke coming from the attic. The fire was quickly brought under control. Mashpee Fire Chief Rullo reported that the fire started from an attic fan. Mashpee was assisted at the scene by Cotuit and Joint Base Cape Cod Fire Departments, Falmouth Fire covered Mashpee station. The fire is being investigated by Mashpee Fire and Building Departments. Mashpee Police provided traffic control.
