HYANNIS – One person was shot in Hyannis about 11:30 PM Friday evening. Officials rushed to a Dumont Drive residence and found the victim reportedly suffering from a gun shot wound to the chest. The victim was rushed to Cape Cod Hospital. Barnstable Police were searching for suspects.
Barnstable Police report that On Friday at approximately 11:30 PM, the Barnstable Police Department responded to reports of a disturbance on Dumont Drive in Hyannis. Upon arrival one male victim of a gunshot wound was discovered. The male was transported to Cape Cod Hospital by the Hyannis Fire Department where he underwent surgery. The male remains in serious but stable condition at the time of this release
