MASHPEE – A car vs pole crash was reported in Mashpee shortly before noon Friday. The crash on Red Brook Road snapped the pole leaving it dangling over the road and knocking out power to 815 Eversource customers in the area. The driver was taken to Falmouth Hospital for evaluation. Mashpee Police are investigating the crash. Red Brook Road was expected to be closed in the area for an extended time.
