HYANNIS – A car struck a utility pole on North Street in Hyannis about 9:30 p.m. The pole was across the road with wires forcing the closure of the street. Eversouce crews were responding. The driver was evaluated for injuries that were not life-threatening. The crash is under investigation by Barnstable Police.
