WEST YARMOUTH – Firefighters had to use the Jaws of Life to free a driver after a crash on Route 28 in West Yarmouth. The crash happened Thursday around 3:30 PM west of Higgins Crowell Road. It appeared an E.F. Winslow work truck collided with the rear of a pickup truck. The extent of injuries was not immediately clear. Yarmouth Police are investigating the crash.
