HYANNIS – At about 3 PM Saturday afternoon, there was a single vehicle crash on Yarmouth Road near Camp Street in Hyannis. A Nissan Altima sedan was reportedly heading north on Yarmouth Road when for reasons unknown, it crossed over to the other side of the road and first struck a utility pole. The Altima continued on the wrong side of the road striking a display with an off road vehicle at JMR Honda. The vehicle continued and almost struck a second utility pole before going back into the northbound lane and stopping at Camp Street. The driver was transported to Cape Cod Hospital with unknown injuries. Eversourse was called to check on the pole. The crash is under investigation by Barnstable Police.
