DENNIS – Tuesday evening around 11:30 PM, there was a motor vehicle crash on Old Chatham Road in South Dennis, where the road curves to run parallel to the Mid Cape Highway, near the Harwich line. A Jeep struck a utility pole leaving the pole in the roadway. The driver was taken to Cape Cod Hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening. The road was closed as Eversource crews worked to work to be replace the pole. The crash is under investigation by Dennis Police.
