BOURNE – From Bourne Police: On Sunday, detectives from the Bourne Police Department completed an investigation involving the sale and distribution of cocaine by an employee of Sam’s Food Mart on Main St. in Buzzards Bay. The cashier was selling cocaine from the business and his nearby residence. The investigation resulted in the issuance of an arrest warrant for James Kemmett, 38, of Buzzards Bay. He was taken into custody without incident and a search warrant was executed on his residence which resulted in the seizure of cocaine, marijuana, prescription medication, packaging materials, a stun gun, and cash. Kemmett was charged with Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute, Possession of a Class D Drug with Intent to Distribute, Possession of a Class C Drug, Possession of a Class C Drug with Intent to Distribute, Possession of a Stun Gun without a License, and Improper Storage of a Stun Gun.
