Mashpee Firefighters called twice to same house

MASHPEE – Mashpee Firefighters were called to 54 Cayuga Avenue sometime after 2 PM Saturday for a reported house fire. According to reports, some debris was burning outside the house and quickly doused.

A couple of hours later, another fire broke out at the same residence sending crews back to the scene. That fire was also quickly doused. The cause of the fires is under investigation. Further details were not immediately available.
