Updated: Mashpee Wampanoag Police seek missing child

MASHPEE – 16 year old Adryana Braga went missing from Oliver Ames High School on 06/01/21. She had been placed at the Home for Little Wanderers Southeast Campus since 06/2020. It is believed that Adryana may be with her Mother India Hendricks-Braga, who currently resides on Tecumseh St, Fall River. It was confirmed on 06/01/21 that Adryana used India’s phone to call out of work. India was also heard in the background when Adryana spoke with her clinician at the program on 06/02/21.

Ms. Braga is a biracial female 5’3″ tall and 180 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

We have been speaking with Adryana daily. She states she is safe and not in danger. Although its good to hear her voice, and be in contact with her, we have no way of knowing if she is under duress or actually safe.
She is a Ward of the State, she is a runaway and is considered missing until her return. A Care and Protection Precept as been issued for Adryana R. Braga by Bristol County/New Bedford Juvenal Courts.

Section 64A: Delinquent children; aiding and abetting violation of a juvenile court order; concealing or harboring child; penalties
Section 63A. Whoever is 19 years of age or older and: (i) knowingly and willfully aids or abets a child under the age of 18, to violate an order of a juvenile court; or (ii) knowingly and willfully conceals or harbors a child who has taken flight from the custody of the court, a parent, a legal guardian, the department of children and families or the department of youth services shall be punished by a fine of not more than $500 or by imprisonment in the house of correction for not more than 1 year, or by both such fine and imprisonment..
