WEST BARNSTABLE – A motorcyclist was seriously injured when his bike reportedly struck a guardrail. The crash happened about 6:20 p.m. Sunday on Route 6A at High Street. The victim was taken to Beth Israel Hospital in Plymouth where a MedFlight helicopter was requested to fly the him to a Boston trauma center. The crash is under investigation by Barnstable Police.
