Multiple crashes on Route 6 snarl late afternoon commute

CAPE COD-Multiple crashes caused heavy delays along sections of Route 6 late Thursday afternoon. The first crash involving a car and motorcycle happened just East of exit 10. No injuries were reported.

A short time later, three vehicles collided westbound just past the Freeman’s Way overpass before exit 11. One person was taken to Cape Cod Hospital.

Not long after that a tractor-trailer and a car collided just before the Sagamore Bridge. Two children were evaluated but no serious injuries were reported. State Police are investigating the crashes.
