NANTUCKET – Nantucket Police report that on July 2nd at 7:54 PM, they along with Mass State Police responded to Old South Liquors on Lovers Lane for a reported knife stabbing. When officers arrived, they located the victim in the parking lot of the liquor store. The victim, a 42-year-old Nantucket man, was suffering from a single stab wound to his thigh. The suspect had fled the scene prior to officers arrival.
At this time, a possible suspect has been identified and is currently being sought for questioning. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
